Why do we give?
At High Street Bible, we believe our generosity is a reflection of God's generosity towards us. The way we manage the resources God has entrusted to us speaks volumes about what we value most. It's a powerful way to proclaim the gospel and demonstrate our faith to the world.
Our desire is to honor God in every aspect of our lives, and that certainly includes our finances. We see giving as an act of worship, a joyful response to God's abundant provision. As 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 reminds us, we are called to contribute cheerfully and regularly to support the church's ministry, care for the poor, and spread the gospel to all nations. We strive to give God the "firstfruits" of all our labor, as encouraged in Proverbs 3:9, showing Him that He is our priority. is generous and so he calls us to be as well.
